The Alumni Committee Orientation Program at MNIT Jaipur took place on 14th September 2024 at Neeti Sabhagar from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, drawing an impressive attendance of 165 students. This event was organized to introduce new members to the objectives and activities of the Alumni Committee (Alcom), aiming to foster a deeper connection between current students and the alumni. It focused on the significance of alumni engagement in enhancing career opportunities and building a strong professional network.
Guest speaker Saurabh Devnani, an alumnus from the 2016 batch (Mechanical Engineering), shared his personal experiences and insights on how leveraging the alumni contributed to his professional growth. He encouraged students to actively participate in Alcom’s initiatives, emphasizing the value of building strong alumni connections early on.
The event also featured Prof. Dilip Sharma, Dean of International and Alumni Affairs, who spoke about the institution’s vision for strengthening ties with its global alumni base, and Dr. Prerna Jain, Associate Dean of National and International Affairs, who highlighted the importance of international collaborations in securing internships, research opportunities. Dr. Pawan Kalla, Associate Dean of Alumni Affairs, stressed on the impact of alumni in shaping the future of current students by sharing knowledge, experiences, and opportunities.
Each guest shared valuable perspectives on how students could utilize the alumni community for personal and professional growth. The session concluded with a felicitation ceremony, where Prof. Dilip Sharma, Dr. Prerna Jain, and Prof. Pawan Kalla honored the guest speakers with token of appreciation for his presence in the event and for being strong connect between alumni and student at MNIT Jaipur.
