The retired faculty of the institute was also felicitated and honoured with a shawl in recognition of their years of dedicated service to an academic institution.
MNITJaipur celebrated Alumni Day 2024 on 25th December with great enthusiasm, honoring the Golden Jubilee Batch (1974) and Silver Jubilee Batch (1999). The 1974 batch announced a scholarship fund for students in need, while the 1973 batch, along with MNITJAA, donated two electric golf carts, an initiative led by Shri Jagdish Mishra and Dr. Ashish Dutt Sharma. The event was graced by addresses from Prof. Narayana Prasad Padhy, Director, MNIT Jaipur, Prof. Dilip Sharma, Dean International and Alumni Affairs, and other esteemed members of the Deanery and Alumni Association. It was a day filled with nostalgia, reconnecting cherished memories and bonds.
Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, in collaboration with the MNIT Jaipur Alumni Association, successfully organized Alumni Day 2025 on 25 December 2025, celebrating the institute’s legacy and enduring alumni bonds. The occasion marked the felicitation of the Golden Jubilee Batch (1975 Entry Batch; 70 alumni) and the Silver Jubilee Batches (2000 / ARCH-2001 and 2000 PG Pass-out Batches); 250 alumni. The celebrations began with a traditional welcome featuring Tilak, Safa, and Dhol at Prabha Bhawan, followed by the formal programme featuring lamp lighting and the Institute Kulgeet. The event was graced by Ar. Habeeb Khan, Chairman, Board of Governors, MNIT Jaipur (Chief Guest) along with Prof. Narayana Prasad Padhy, Director, MNIT Jaipur, Prof. Dilip Sharma, Dean (International & Alumni Affairs), Dr. Ashish Dutt Sharma, President, MNITJAA, Dr. Pawan Kalla, Associate Dean (Alumni Affairs), and Shri Mahendra Meena, General Secretary, MNITJAA. Representatives of both jubilee batches Shri Sandeep Niyati and Shri Rajendra Sothwal shared reflections on their journey from campus life to professional achievements. A key highlight was the release of AluMNITimes, felicitation of retired faculty, and jubilee batch honours. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Mahendra Meena, expressing sincere appreciation to all dignitaries, alumni, and the ALCOM Team for their contributions, followed by lunch.
