Introduction:

MNIT Alumni Corpus Fund is to raise funds, technical support and moral encouragement from our distinguished alumni so as to facilitate various infrastructural, institutional, technical, academic development activities and to establish scholarship funds to help the needy students. It was established on 17.08.2015 by the suggestion of Alumni. The corpus Created may be utilized for student s Alma mater, Social causes, Welfare of Alumni and their families. It is an unique opportunity to take care of society, friends and batch mates. These funds are accrued through voluntary contributions by alumni. The alumni attains name, fame and satisfaction after sharing with others. The MNIT Alumni Corpus Fund will ensure timely support in the hour of need at very short notice. Many activities which are identified by batch can be funded using the corpus in a hassle-free manner.

Vision & Mission:

Our vision is to make MNIT Jaipur a self-reliant institute by 2050 with the help of our strong Institute- Alumni relationship. The mission of MNIT Alumni corpus fund is to connect the global alumni with their Alma mater & to create a financial support system for overall development of the institute. The alumni have tremendous love for MNIT Jaipur and it is our purpose to facilitate and enhance connection and devotion to their alma mater.

COMMITTEE RESPONSIBLE FOR UTILIZATION OF FUNDS

Alumni Advisory Committee:

It is proposed to utilize the 80% interest part of MNIT Alumni Corpus Fund for various activities which is approved by Alumni Advisory Committee (AAC).The AAC approved by competent authority (Board of governors, MNIT Jaipur) will approve Utilization of this fund for various activities.

ALUMNI CONTRIBUTIONS:

• Approx. rupees 67 lakhs contributed by 1994 batch, for building badminton courts under Sports Complex.
• Rs. 6.50 lakhs deposited by 1976 batch in MNIT alumni corpus fund for a scholarship in the name their batch.
• Approx. 32 lakhs contributed by Prof. APS Rathore (faculty alumni) towards scholarships for needy students.
• A monthly contribution on regular basis for life long contribution (Few faculty members have contributed)
• Contributions in the range of 10-11 thousand made by alumni (6-10 number)
• More than 10 faculty alumni contribute on monthly basis.

Support to the MNIT Jaipur Alumni Corpus Fund

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT FUND

The contribution of MNIT Jaipur to research is immensely recognized. However, there is lot to improve and enhance the quality of research to provide MNITians a better platform. An alumnus may contribute a minimum amount of INR 25 lakhs and for a specific batch, minimum amount of contribution is INR 3 crores. There are certain areas in research & development where alumni may contribute:

1. New Labs
2. Renovation of old Laboratories
3. Advance equipments

SCHOLARSHIPS FUND:

Alumni are welcome to contribute towards MNIT Alumni Corpus Fund to provide scholarships on various basis. Our motive is to make MNIT financially accessible to ev- eryone. Basis on which MNIT provides scholarships:

1. Merit Based
2. Project and Research Based
3. Need Based
4. Higher Studies

Alumni may contribute for named scholarships. An alumuns or a specific alumni batch may contribute an amount of INR 55 lakhs will fully sponsor a needy student for his entire graduation fees and personal expenses with an annual scholarshipof INR 2.5 lakhs. An alumuns may contribute a minimum amount of INR 10 lakhs for an annual scholarship of INR 50,000. A specific batch may contribute an amount of INR 5 crores for a bunch of 10 scholarships for lifetime.

WELLNESS & MEDICAL FUND:

Advance equipment at dispensary are required. We have a well working staff team but the number should increase. An alumnus may contribute a minimum amount of INR 10 Lakhs and for a specific batch, minimum amount of contribution is INR 1 crore. Our vision is to make medical facilities 24x7.There are certain areas where Alumni may contribute:

1. Advance Medical Equipment
2. Ambulance
3. Clinical Laboratories

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBIMTY (CSR) FUND:

Alumni may help in raising corpus fund using their wide network with industry.

GIVE BACK MNIT JAIPUR:

This fund is set up to raise donations from the alumni of specific batches as a way to give back to MNIT Jaipur. These funds will be utilized for projects at institute as specified by the particular batch. Your contribution will help to make MNIT a world-class institution of higher learning.

LEARN-EARN-RETURN:

The "Learn-Earn-Return" Fund aims to create a financial support system for students and imbibe the culture of giving back among them to sustain the initiative.

PROJECT BASED DONATION FUND:

Alumni can donate in this fund for any specific project based on their interest and expertise in a particular field.

BATCH ENDOWMENT FUND:

This fund is used for the support of a batch, For a specific batch, minimum amount of contribution is INR 5 crore. If you are making donation for specific batch, please specify

NAMED CHAIRS/PROFESSORSHIP FUND:

Alumni can create an endowed chair or professor chair on their name by donating an amount of INR 1 crore for highly qualified & exceptional scholars and researchers.

NAMING OPPORTUNITIES:

Alumni can honor the legacy of their loved ones or to mark for themselves in their alma mater by naming a laboratory, hostel wing or a lecture hall in their loved one's name. This will positively impact the lives of thousands of students, staff & faculty who call the institute their home. An alumuns may contribute a minimum amount of INR 1 crore and for a specific batch, minimum amount of contribution is INR 5 crore.

DEPARTMENTAL STUDENT ACTIVITY CENTRE:

Alumnus/Alumni batch may lead a fundraiser to build a student activity center for productive and informal after-class experience in their department.

INFRASTRUCTURE FUND:

Our motive is to provide state of the art infrastructure to the students. An alumuns may contribute a minimum amount of INR 50 lakhs and for a specific batch, minimum amount of contribution is INR 5 crore. These are certain areas in infrastructure where
