Mr. Chandra Prakash Sharma has been our alumni having earned B.E. in ECE in 1993. He has played a vital role in the review of FPGA logic design for cameras used in Chandrayaan-2/3, which were deployed for determining landing sites, capturing video, and ensuring soft landing. Presently, he is serving in the capacity of Scientist/Engineer-G and is leading the team in the “Sensors Control and Digital Data Processing Electronics” division of the Sensors Development Area (SEDA) of Space Application Centre (SAC) ISRO, Ahmadabad. He has also been the recipient of ISRO Team Excellence awards for INSAT-3D Metreological payload. Cartosat-3A Electronics developed under his leadership is the most complex electronic design for electro-optical payload so far.
